Windows Movie Maker isn't exactly the best choice for serious editing. There are legal ways to access Premiere Pro CS2 for free, though it might be a bit outdated.

I've been using Windows Movie Maker for a while now. It's fairly outdated, so advanced effects aren't possible, but it's great for assembling videos and basic editing. I mainly use it for my YouTube channel KB_TheDireWolf.
