I don't like WMP or Zune much because of their weak ID3 tag handling. Recent checks show they don't support ID3 v2.4 tags—essentially an outdated standard. This means some music appears untagged in them, though it works in other players. I also dislike how WMP automatically resizes files like folder.jpg to fit. The UI is decent, but overall I wouldn't recommend using them unless Microsoft improves tag support, format compatibility, and album art handling.

The only issue I've faced was with certain ID3 tags, but tools like Advanced MP3 Catalog Pro resolve it more effectively than iTunes or W.E.
