I shared this on Reddit, but no one has replied yet. I’m sure someone here can assist. Before anyone comments, it’s a tricky situation. Last night I brought back my desktop from school for testing parts and making adjustments to a custom desk we’re constructing for a project. Everything functioned fine until now. I disassembled it, took it home, and attempted to power it on. It turns out I didn’t connect the PSU cable for the CPU while pressing the built-in MOBO power button. What could possibly go wrong? I tried using a spare PSU I had on hand (it works), but it still doesn’t power anything. The biggest concern is that even the motherboard’s RGB lighting isn’t turning on, which was supposed to signal it was powered up. Did I just ruin my setup? I’m running an Asus Prime Z370 A-II, Intel i5-9600K, 16GB (2x8) at 3200MHz RAM, Ventus 3x 3060 12GB, Corsair HX1200 Platinum.
