You're looking for advice on choosing indie games to buy with your remaining Steam budget during the Winter Sale. Since you haven’t played them yet, consider focusing on titles you genuinely enjoy. Seek recommendations from fellow players or trusted sources to narrow down your options.

I favor permanent loss and extended sequences in Spelunky.

Have you checked out Lisa: The Painful and Lisa: The Joyful? Excellent choice—challenging yet engaging for an RPG, packed with humor, and offers a diverse group of characters to explore.

Terraria stands out with its extensive offerings. I've played many AAA titles, but this one has captured my interest. Another solid choice is Mount & Blade, which remains enjoyable despite its cost. Warband is my top pick, though the original version is still quite great.

I enjoyed playing Terraria a while back. But with all the new additions, it's hard to remember what it felt like before. I might have a slight bias since I dislike roguelikes.
