Greetings Tom,

I'm experiencing a particular problem with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Using the in-game Steam overlay—which I enjoy—causes several problems:
The game frequently crashes,
It temporarily displays a search window on Google and elsewhere but fails to reopen later,
It briefly appears and seems unresponsive (the game is in fullscreen mode but not actively selected), preventing interaction.
I’ve already checked file integrity, reduced my graphics card clock speed, disabled Radeon ReLive, and experimented with both DX9 and without it.

My system specifications are: Xeon E3-1225v3 102 BCLK (3.67Ghz), 16GB of HyperX Fury at 1866MHz, R9 280 Sapphire Dual-X 1000/1300, and both an HDD and SSD.
Importantly, this instability doesn’t occur with any other games—I've run my computer continuously for over two weeks, barring restarts due to Windows updates and other programs requiring them.

Do you have any other Steam titles you could use to see if this problem is isolated to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? I’m attempting to determine whether it's a specific issue with that game.

Following yesterday's Steam update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, I experienced no problems today—and it seems to be limited solely to CSGO. I'll respond if the issue recurs.
