I recently assembled a PC (MSI MAG z790 Tomahawk Wifi, Corsair Vengeance 6000CL40, 4070 Ti, i5 13600K, current Windows 11, BIOS updated) and encountered network problems. My home has two Wi-Fi networks—a 2.4GHz and a faster 5GHz. After updating the BIOS, installing Windows 11, and confirming everything was operational, I could connect to the 5GHz network smoothly. However, at one point (unsure exactly when, possibly after driver installation but not immediately) the connection dropped. Devices on the slower network still worked fine, but the faster one cut out completely. In Windows settings, both networks display data only for the slower one, with no details about the faster. I’ve reset the network and tried reconnecting. The motherboard came with two antennas on the back.

Go back the Wi-Fi driver to an earlier version to check if the latest update is causing the problem.
