The system runs slightly slower compared to the old PC, though minor. There are noticeable lags in general use, not just during games. The specs are: Intel i5 12400f, Geforce 4060, 33 GB RAM, Lexar 1TB SSD, WIN 11 OS. According to CC Cleaner all drivers are up to date except for audio/intel network and BIOS settings. The latest GPU driver is installed, but the BIOS is two versions outdated—recommend checking Reddit threads for troubleshooting tips before updating. The PCI slot is set to 3x4, which might be contributing to the slowdown. It seems the SSD should have slowed things down as expected, but it’s not doing so. Temperatures are normal: CPU 34-40°C, GPU 47°C, SSD 38°C. Possible causes include BIOS configuration, PCI slot setting, or driver issues. Consider testing with a different SSD and adjusting BIOS settings if needed.
What are the specifications of the previous computer?
Did you move the operating system drive from the old computer to the new one without reinstalling Windows?
A fresh motherboard often needs a fresh Windows installation to function correctly.

The main issue seems to be the slower loading into Windows, possibly due to the motherboard taking longer to complete its self-check process.
Display images of CPU-Z memory and speed sections. It's possible the RAM settings aren't set correctly. Did you forget to download the Intel INF chipset drivers from the motherboard support site?
Even with hibernate turned on on the old device, it allows for an extremely quick restart after power off.

How do I check if the Intel Inf driver is installed? Asrock was running some programs at startup, possibly downloaded it, but I’m not sure. Should I re-download the INF file?
