It wasn't like that, my original message is essentially the same but a bit longer. I mentioned that a friend suggested turning on XMP, which I did. The RAM speed was set to 3000 MHz and everything worked fine until I played a game and noticed performance issues. I went back to the BIOS, turned off XMP, and now the stuttering disappears when it's off. The stutter still happens when XMP is active, but it stops completely without it. I wasn't aware of any testing tools, so I'm planning to try them out next time.
It's fine, just setting XMP to profile 1 and executing MemTest.
I would test CL 16-16-16 first to check for stability, otherwise try 16-17-17. Keep the memory voltage at 1.35V.
