a little confusion..
My search came up with a g43. Still, boosting it will raise power consumption significantly—possibly around 300 watts—and it could lack the robust safety features found in the Sabretooth model. The board may shut down during extreme heat on hot days, which would mainly affect high summer conditions. The 990fx models are built for 9xxx CPUs. A 220w rating provides sufficient headroom for an overclocked 4xxx, 6xxx, or 8xxx CPU. The person owning the property has the final say in what to do. Pushing the north bridge won’t help; it only increases risk by raising voltage and temperature. Unnecessarily, adding DDR3 2400 memory would be more beneficial than overclocking, even though it’s still expensive. The 9xxx chips are the most challenging to overclock, so no one here will give advice on that.
