I owned an Acer Office PC with Windows 8.1 that was upgraded to Windows 10. The license was linked to the motherboard, and I’m unsure if it’s still valid. When I set up my gaming PC, I connected the license to my Microsoft account so I wouldn’t have to purchase a separate one. If I reinstall Windows 10 on the Office machine, will my main PC lose its license or just become inactive? I’m considering selling it or giving it to someone who might need it, but I don’t want to risk losing access to my gaming setup.
