I completed the upload of my updated README and files for MPC-HC plus madVR. This project has been on my mind for several years, both for myself and my friends. Initially, I shared it with the Anime Club at http://goo.gl/D37X4l. Some members felt a separate thread would be more suitable for the whole forum, which would help with updates and support. While many care about visual quality, few really focus on video. I aim to improve this and make it more engaging. Here are the decoders: https://goo.gl/OZJY6N. The latest draft of my updated README is available at http://goo.gl/rlJsFn, along with the original version at http://goo.gl/s2tC1Q. All test files listed in the README can be found in the accompanying post. I no longer own an AMD GPU and haven’t found anyone willing to help set up one, so the current ini file is Nvidia-only. Quick setup instructions for AMD are provided below. An Intel iGPU option is also available, and I’ll explore that once my 20th Anniversary Pentium Build is ready. I’m still working on configuring madVR; here’s a basic guide I put together. Feel free to ask for more details or suggestions. If you’re unsure whether this effort is worth your time, I can clarify. By the way, MPC-HC is superior to VLC—this just adds another layer of improvement.

However, I switched to VLC a while back and haven’t used MPC anymore. It’s been a while since I’ve touched it.

You might do it because you feel compelled to, even though it seems outdated. It’s been accessible for a while, which makes it less current. What are you asking for?

Since I don’t use VLC or any media player except for music occasionally, my setup is quite simple.

Not resolved yet, but I’ll handle it if I ever become a bartender.
