Imagine a game set during the Punic Wars between Rome and Carthage. The experience would immerse players in ancient Rome as it was during the first war, offering a deep dive into daily life. Players would manage everything from trade and jobs to farming, animal husbandry, cooking, and city sanitation. They’d navigate the social structures of Rome and Carthage, choosing paths in commerce, politics, religion, or even warfare. The game aims for authenticity, making you feel as though you’re truly part of that era, starting from a modest position and progressing through various roles within the bustling city.

It seems you're interested in a game centered around your interests. Would you like to share more details so I can suggest something suitable?

For the objective of "life simulator 189 BC," it matters that the setting aligns with the Punic Wars because it enhances historical authenticity and immersion. While other games offer reconstructions or themed levels, incorporating this period adds depth to the experience. The Punic Wars also feature prominently in the Rome: Total Wars series, highlighting their strategic significance.

It's not about managing every tiny detail of the city, but it's enjoyable to play as Rome or Carthage and battle

These are large-scale adventures where you're far removed from everyday life. This feels more like an RPG, and I'm excited to experience it firsthand.

You might invite a companion and have them engage in Rome while another tackles Carthage in a large campaign, using tactics that fit the era. Apply guidelines restricting forces to specific time frames.

Nemesis of the Roman Empire? There's no base building (you control towns / villages) but it has heroes and RPG elements. It's set in the Punic Wars. It's the sequel of Celtic Kings.
