A game can be several years old and still be enjoyable, especially if you're into nostalgic titles from the late '90s. The main concerns are usually graphics quality rather than age itself.

It relies on how you perceive the graphics quality. For instance, I really like playing Total Annihilation a lot, even though it was released in 1997—graphics weren’t terrible for that time.

This subject varies greatly from person to person. I’m drawn to new, cutting-edge titles, yet I also appreciate classic games because they evoke a sense of nostalgia. It brings back memories of the past, doesn’t it? Ultimately, it depends on what each individual values.

I still find Freelancer really enjoyable. It was released more than ten years ago, and that’s part of why Star Citizen appeals so much to me.

In the early '90s, I occasionally played certain games I used to enjoy as a child.

I was created in 1998, and I prefer games that came out after that age. The only exceptions are certain arcade titles. I find the oldest widely popular game I really like to be Halo: CE.

It's one thing I've forgotten the most—the GTA SA. It used to be so enjoyable, but it's not the same anymore.

I don't really base my enjoyment on the age or release year of a game. And honestly, @ those who think 1980s or older counts, I'm more into the original Game Boy or Nintendo 64.
