A gadget connected to the setup isn't working properly during app installation.
Hello, I just reset my Windows 10 to its original state using a file removal tool (Attachment 1). After installation, it performed a disk check and repair. I set up my profile, installed Google Chrome, and tried installing other programs, but one failed. When attempting to install an application via .exe file, I encountered the "A device attached to the system is not functioning" error (Attachment 2). I tried installing from: C: (where Windows is installed, SSD) and D: (storage drive, HDD from CD or pendrive). Please let me know if you can assist.
I attempted to reset it again, but it didn’t work, leaving me without any operating system. That meant I had to install Windows 7 and then upgrade it to version 10. The issue remains unresolved, but moderators suggested deleting this thread to keep the forum tidy. Thanks.
