The video we created is available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/spus6cc61ytnmej/thumbnails missing.mp4. Occasionally, a startup error occurs. SFC and Dism scans don’t appear to help. Some thumbnails vanished after a disk cleanup, while others remained. During a random restart, the process ran into an issue: Incorrect function reported in Win32Bridge.Server.exe.

The message that appears after a restart indicates Cortana is active. If you locate Cortana in Settings and reset the app, the issue may resolve. If you removed Cortana, reinstall it and check if the problem persists before attempting to delete it again. For thumbnails, consider removing the thumbcache or using Disk Cleanup.

The startup issue appears resolved, yet the thumbnails remain faulty. I visited appdata to remove them, but some couldn’t be deleted and instead show a warning about being open elsewhere. This occurs even when using safe mode.
