You're referring to a situation where a call center in Colorado dismissed a veteran with a medical license, despite his history of using prescribed medication. Many felt this was unfair given his circumstances and past honesty about his condition. It sparked strong reactions, especially considering his dedication to service and the challenges he faced after losing his mobility. Personally, I'd support someone in a similar situation if my state still allowed long sentences for drug possession.

Absolutely, I strongly support the legalization of drugs and pot. It's not just a liberal issue—it's something important for Colorado like California.

The chances of securing a job immediately after finishing school vary widely. I’m not very familiar with the current US job market, but I’ve heard it’s quite challenging lately. As previously mentioned, completing an internship—whether paid or unpaid—could be one of the safest paths to employment soon after graduation. The freelance work you might take on doesn’t always require specialized skills like network security; general IT tasks are usually sufficient. Setting up computers, servers, and networks is common in small to medium businesses, which often offer competitive pay and future opportunities.

I'm not completely traditional myself; I don't support gay marriage (and not for the reasons people usually think). Still, I believe it should be allowed. I'm also an atheist and a supporter of pot (though I'm against everything else—those things are way too intense). What worried me was that he filed a lawsuit against the company and took them to federal court, but the judge ruled in favor of the company. That’s clearly wrong because he had a medical reason, and a business shouldn’t be able to fire someone over a health issue unless it actually stops them from working. I’ve pondered this, but I’m not sure where to begin since this is the South. The only tech spots here are repair shops (which are all pretty rough) and the Geek Squad—probably not the best fit for me. I might be able to join one of those after a few years, maybe even if I build my own computer.

Also, IT is expected to expand more than any other sector in the US over the next two decades, which is why I chose this path.

But... would it be okay to move to Japan for work? And are there naturally redheaded Japanese women? That’s a question I’m curious about.

I really dislike when such things occur. It's absurd that someone can face jail time for having a joint in their pocket while thinking they've committed a serious crime. Plus, I'd love to chat with you about the gay marriage issue—it's something that really caught my attention.

You're facing a harsh sentence—fifteen years for each offense. It seems absurd that such penalties exist, especially since the Appalachian region, as noted by the DEA, offers prime conditions for cultivation. Legalizing it could boost the economy and provide a sustainable alternative to the fading tobacco industry.

As my dad always said: "When in doubt, ask at the local bar". Usually someone will know someone that needs something done. I'm not really talking about working full time at a computer/electonics store or shop. I'm talking about working maybe 2-3 days at a bank setting up computers and making the network function. If you do some of these short time jobs, you will have made a solid foundation for a future full time career. That was how I got my job as a server and network technician started. Should I also chime in on politics or....

I faced the same challenges when seeking a waitstaff role in my youth. Every establishment—Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden—demanded prior experience. I began at Bob Evans, climbed the ranks, but once I had some hands-on time (even if it meant working hard for little pay), it became easier to advance to better places. It seems similar: do an internship, realize you might not get paid right away, gain some experience, and then try again.
