Hello everyone,

I’ve installed the new version and upon starting the game, the entire screen is filled with vibrant 8-bit rainbow hues. I'm using an older gaming laptop, but I haven’t encountered this type of issue previously. I realize there are numerous bugs and problems currently present, including game crashes at startup for some players. However, has anyone else noticed this specific problem within any games? Apparently, they’ve integrated a Vulkan API with this update. Other titles I play—such as GTA, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Cities Skylines, Rocket League, and Overwatch—function flawlessly and smoothly, but since this particular update, No Man's Sky has become unplayable. Please see the link below for an illustration.

My system specifications are: i7-3630qm processor, 8GB DDR4 2166MHz Corsair RAM, AMD 7970M 2GB graphics card, and Windows 7 Ultimate. I’m running the latest AMD drivers and system updates.

I’ve now located a document regarding this matter. I experienced this difficulty yesterday evening on my Windows 10 system. Rebooting and updating Windows resolved the issue this morning. However, it reappeared upon my return from work. Experiment with your AMD Radeon configuration options; I don't have specific recommendations to provide, but attempt different combinations of settings until the problem is successfully corrected.

Please be cautious when utilizing any guides intended for resolving this problem. I attempted a method that involved removing Vulkan registries, which completely corrupted my operating system, requiring nearly ten hours of troubleshooting and ultimately necessitating a full format and reinstall. It failed to address the issue and the situation remains unchanged. With a newly installed OS, free from viruses or other potential conflicts, all drivers are current and Windows is up-to-date, I can confirm that this game’s update is incompatible with my graphics card or there has been an error within the latest release. I am frustrated as I anticipated framerate improvements and related enhancements. Please advise if you successfully resolve it; reinstalling graphics drivers will likely be unproductive, and I have exhausted all other options at this point.
