I rely heavily on SBC components from Pis, lattepanda and similar. Currently I’m using an outdated screen keyboard and mouse, though it’s not the best setup. I explored KVM options, understanding that from my PC I can control the physical display keyboard and mouse signals. For first boot, a headless setup would be helpful. I’ve been researching this topic; Jake covers it in detail. My specs are: computer prefers USB, Ethernet works if assigned a static address. The output should connect via HDMI to the SBC, and all devices should use HDMI or micro HDMI with a USB connection for the keyboard and mouse. I’m hoping the price is around 40 € in Europe. The only option that fits within that budget is the Sipeed NanoKVM Lite. It costs around €30 plus €5 shipping to Spain, and requires an SD card plus about €5. It’s barely within the budget, so I’m unsure if you can locate it nearby.
