I only recently downloaded GTA V and started a two-hour online session. After roughly twenty minutes, my system cut off from the internet and displayed a strange symbol on the taskbar—like this: http://cdn.howto-connect.com/wp-content/...askbar.png. This caused my connection to drop for about five minutes. I now understand it’s making it impossible to play GTA online smoothly, as I’ll keep getting disconnected. Please assist!

Please reinstall the wireless drivers. Is your wireless connection slow or unresponsive during use?

Do you have any additional devices linked to your router, both wired and wireless, that aren't connecting properly? I've experienced similar problems before, especially when using uTorrent for legal downloads—it would shut down the router completely until resolved. I resolved it by adjusting a router setting to disable its DNS role and redirect all DNS queries through Google's DNS server at 8.8.8.8. Hope this helps even if the situation is different.
