Hi there! I’m working on upgrading my PC and have gathered all the necessary components step by step. I’m thinking about installing the Ryzen 3 3300X once it’s released, and I’ve been watching videos and reading forums about updating B450 motherboards for compatibility with new processors. I’m considering the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro WiFi AM4 ATX board. Could anyone assist me with this? Is a BIOS update necessary here? And if so, how would I handle it when I only have that specific processor? Thanks!

If produced recently, the inventory is likely to comply with the AGESA standard for Zen 2. You should verify directly with the retailer about updates if needed.

The Gigabyte product page states that the motherboard is compatible with AMD 3000 from the start. You should encounter no problems.
