I have a scar strix 15 g533 with 16 gb 3080 and amd chip. I attempted to replace the liquid metal with regular past... and maybe broke the battery connecter in the process. I took the laptop to a local computer store but they were unable to fix the no boot problem. The battery seems fine, maybe. I am looking for a computer place that would be able to repair catasophic issues. I live in oklahoma, city oklahoma, but I could mail it. Or find anyplace that sales mainboard replacements. If worse comes to worse I guess we could sent it to linus's engineers to see if the could turn it into Skynet, with a igloo cooler and the heating block from a '69 chevy, maybe a cat with a peice of toast taped to its back for unlimited power. Any suggestions would be awesome, thank you.

Consider visiting an authorized Asus service provider. It’s worth questioning why you’d swap liquid metal for thermal paste in the first place...

The temperature was rising despite the fans and laptop cooling, so I thought there might be an issue with the paste. In my defense, I admitted it was my mistake. I felt my abilities were better than what turned out to be.
