Hi, everyone I’m looking for advice on overclocking. I just started using my first K CPU and followed the Gigabyte Aorus PDF instructions. It’s a solid guide, but I’m not getting the best results. I managed to reach a steady 4.9GHz with all cores between 1.380 and 1.385. I’ve seen people easily hit 5.1 or 5.2 at lower voltages, but I’m struggling to get stable overclocking even when lowering the voltage. Could you help me figure out what might be going wrong? Also, any thoughts on what could be affecting my performance?

To have realistic hopes, search for "Silicon Lottery" online.

All components vary and produce different outcomes during overclocking, similar to a battle with the CPU but I would be careful not to push it too far! If it remains stable at 4.9GHz, that's quite impressive and won't be noticeable if it reaches up to 5.1GHz. Please let me know if you manage to hit 5.1GHz.

You don't require 5.1, perhaps 5.4 or 5.5?
