9600k ez tune
Hey, I own the strix z390 h gaming mobo and was looking to boost my CPU performance. I tried using the ez tune feature and it worked—now I'm hitting around 4.95ghz. The voltage is close to 1.5, but I haven’t seen any stability issues in Cinebench or Intel Extreme. Just wondering if that voltage level is too high? I’ve also run a h115i pro without reaching temperatures over 66°C on the board or 67°C on any core, whether I’m gaming or stress testing.
Voltage levels are excessively high, which is common in "auto overclock" software. Return to the original settings and increase the CPU speed properly. Intel Temperature Guide by CompuTronix provides all necessary information and tools for correctly overclocking an Intel CPU. The maximum safe Vcore for 8th and 9th generation Intel processors is 1.4.
