I'm looking for an air cooler suitable for this build. I want something that works well without being too extreme, just a decent fit. The space I have is limited to Master and Corsair coolers. I need a recommendation between the two. The CPU cooler height should be up to 310 mm.

The C400 edges out the 212, yet they're in the same class and both could perform well with a small overclock.

air coolers are large, bulky, and less efficient than water coolers. They often obstruct RAM or GPU slots and create space issues, while also adding significant strain to the motherboard due to their size. If you have the option (especially with an i7-8600k), consider using an AIO water cooler.

air coolers tend to be large and bulky, often being less efficient than water coolers. They can obstruct RAM or GPU slots and add significant strain on the motherboard due to their size. If you have the option (especially with an i7-8600k), consider using an AIO water cooler. The suitability varies, as not all liquid cooling solutions are equally effective. Some high-quality air coolers can match or exceed the performance of closed-loop AIO models at a lower cost.

Yep, and they're large, heavy, and put significant strain on the motherboard...

Each has its advantages and disadvantages...
The choice is restricted to only those two brands because of location or personal preference not to shop online.
I recently bought a very gently used "looks brand new" noctua d15 for $21, which is among the top tier for air coolers.
