Hello everyone, today I attempted to upgrade my M.2 drives. I installed them and restarted the PC, but it kept showing the Asus logo screen and prompting me to press F2 or Delete to enter BIOS. Pressing any key didn’t make a difference. I tested other keyboards without success. Thinking the new drives might be faulty, I replaced them with my old main M.2 drives. Then nothing changed—no display appeared. I tried two different GPUs, suspecting the 2080 was dead, but still no output. The board is an Asus ROG Strix 570-E gaming unit. I connected a speaker to listen for the POST beep, but there were no sounds. The error code on the board is 0c, which isn’t recognized. My south bridge fan stopped spinning after about five seconds; the GPU fans slowed down once they started. I attempted an EZ Update for BIOS via USB, but it didn’t work either. I removed RAM and tried single sticks without any improvement. At this stage, I’m convinced my motherboard is dead—no display, no fan noise, nothing at all. Any computer enthusiasts, do you agree with my observations? Your support would mean a lot!
Verify all your power connectors. The photo shows no power connectors attached to your graphics card, making it difficult to see; it seems the motherboard has nothing connected to the EPS port.
Well, full system specs would be really useful. As for ez-Bios update, remove all storage, ram and cards from the motherboard (keep only the PSU plugged) and try again. If it won't complete as per the instructions, then your Motherboard is probably bricked. Good luck !
Good to hear. I'll take out all my drive connectors and GPU. Let's find out what it does for me. Thanks! Here are the full specs: Asus ROG Strix 570-E gaming mobo, Ryzen 7 3800, 8-core CPU, Corsair Dominator 3000MHz RAM, Aorus 2080 8GB Corsair hydro series pump/res, 4 x Samsung SSDs (3 @ 500GB, 1 @ 1TB), Evga Supernova 1050 PSU, 2 x Hybix Platinum 2TB M.2 drives.
All power off. A notification came through. The display isn’t responding, yet the fans are still moving.
