Hi, I have an Fx8370 on a MSI 990FXA Gaming motherboard. When using the OC Genie, it keeps the multiplier at 21.5 and all cores remain stable. However, when I manually overclock and turn off all settings like Cool n Quite or Turbo Core, I set the multiplier to 22.0. Then I experience almost immediate failure on core 8, with a rounding error (expected less than 0.4 but observed as 0.48). I gradually adjusted the voltage, reaching a stable core 8 failure at around +0.05000 V. Even after about a minute of running Prime95, the issue persists. Could this be a CPU problem or an issue with Prime95? The system is only about two months old and was purchased new. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Prime95 is mainly designed for Intel systems. AMD Overdrive works better. It offers benchmarks and stability checks that are more appropriate.
