That's why I test it in a virtual machine right now. I don't use it to run applications or play games, only for bug testing and performance evaluation. When the complete version is ready—probably within two weeks—I'll upgrade my PC.

Set up a new space for installation and launch Windows 10 from there. Choose your desired drive when starting from the USB or DVD during setup. Avoid using Windows 8 for this process, as it will automatically upgrade to Windows 10—don't want that. Ensure you boot from your USB or DVD. The Windows 10 installation will recognize Windows 8 and display a boot menu when you begin, prompting you to pick between Windows Insider Preview or Windows 8. This interface supports mouse, keyboard, pen, and touch controls for OS selection. If you're using a tablet or flexible device, no worries—selection options remain available. Remember: Windows always lists its installation location as C:\, so Windows 8 stays on C:\ while Windows 10 appears in D:\ (assuming only two partitions). Drive letters are just labels Windows assigns, not the actual partition structure. Keeping everything on C:\ helps prevent software and setup complications.
