Higher MTs perform better. 3600MTs outperforms 3000MTs. Lower CL speeds up more. CL16 edges over CL18 when using 3200MTs RAM—avoid exceeding CL16. Only extremely poor RAM boosts go above CL16. The optimal balance lies around 3200CL16; speed increases cost.

It seems the focus should be on what you're aiming for. Generally, speed matters more, though latency plays a role. I don’t actually test 3200C14 myself—this is just stock data. Usually I run 3733 flat 14s at 1.5v, which might not reflect my current setup. Edit: My post count is nearly matching my FCLK.

I have a vision of a Samsung Bdie kit top bin I’m even at the very top position... HMM... HMMM.... I keep seeing them all the time, 3666CL18 LUL. Maybe I could improve the tuning but my clear CMOS jumper is really tight in my ITX case. I forgot to connect the reset switch yet. When it arrives, I’ll swap a fan and then attach the reset switch to the jumper. My AIO is blocking the way, so I had to design part of the case around it.

I purchased them in November, then bought another set a month later after seeing the GN video. It’s my first build since having kids about nine years ago, so I treated myself a bit. These are my first DDR4 units, which means I’m still learning. A lot of people here have more experience than I do, but I just happened to be lucky. Don’t worry about what you have—it’s yours! If it’s working well, that’s all that matters. It’s a hobby, and the best part is you can spend as much or as little as you like, and it’s still going to be pretty solid. And honestly, just thinking about it makes me happy. My favorite CPU to clock was my first Conroe, an e6300 from 1.8 to 3.7—it was pure budget magic. Thanks for the great hardware, because as long as it boots up, it loves you back!
