You're considering the 7950X3D and wondering if it fits with your MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI or ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO. It might work with the newer models, but you'll need to check compatibility details. If not, you may need a different 7000 series Ryzen to update the BIOS before getting the new chipset.

Don't worry, the boards you referenced can flash BIOS using a USB stick without a CPU or RAM installed—installation is possible but not necessary. For instance, the MSI board works well for this purpose.

The BIOS might function well with the 7950x3d since it isn't a significant modification to the chip. Would you require one? The other 3d options would work similarly and cost less. Unless you're involved in production, larger components aren't always advantageous for CPUs. What's the reason behind this question?

I purchased that board expecting the Ryzen 7000X3D launch. I understand the reasoning behind it. It was one of the rare X670E boards that doesn’t rely on Intel LAN for networking, yet it offers a solid combination of features at its price.

At this cost? It stands out as one of the priciest options available. Don’t worry, the decision is yours. If you’re after it, go all out. But claiming it offers solid value for its price? That doesn’t hold up.

In terms of value for money, it stands out positively. When viewed against all available options in the market, AM5 is notably pricier.

It seems the setup is affordable and has proven reliable across different models. Testing shows the B650 performs just as well as other boards, even with the 7950X and X670 variants. Justifying a purchase is normal, but honesty matters. If you're after the top-tier option, that's fine. Still, spreading false claims isn't acceptable. No one buys a Ferrari by lying about its specs. People just show off their status and move forward.

Identify discrepancies in your statements. I didn't assert that the board could run any AM5 chip currently unavailable, nor did I promise superior performance. My point was clearly about the board's price range featuring solid features without an Intel LAN. The rest of my claims are accurate based on your description. I also noted that the board's PCI-E slots being all 5.0 and two M.2 slots also 5.0 are key reasons for choosing it, especially considering future support needs. Your past purchases of high-end boards are acknowledged.

I also did more research and found that I can do that, which is why I really value the fast reply.

I was considering the Asus 670E hero since I needed a motherboard that would last through multiple AM5 generations.
