This was the reason I stepped away from CS. Even at MG and beyond, you encounter people who boosted, derankers, trolls, etc., which ruins the experience. The last time I got really frustrated was in a match where the other four were all together. They seemed to be around 12 and just kept talking about school while not trying hard. I asked if they could kick me so I could leave, but they said, "nah, you can derank with us." I tried playing solo, and when I started making progress (the other team was terrible), they rushed in front of me to get TK penalties. One even jumped into my awp shot, leading to a 7-day ban. I had several instances joining derrankers or trolls where I just left mid-game, hoping to avoid the ban, but it didn’t help. TL;DR – CS GO has turned into something similar to CoD...
