I’d wait for the 12th generation unless there’s an upcoming event. The 10th and 11th generations will seem outdated compared to it, since they’re both new architectures with a completely different design approach.

That’s why I advised sticking with your 6700K. Intel isn’t a good value right now, and there’s no AMD option that fits. Just keep using what you have—get the top cooler available and push it hard. You won’t damage it.

I observed a clip featuring a person discussing a hybrid CPU design that combines multiple cores for performance.

Many premium SKUs include both P-cores and E-cores. Ideally, this setup lets the operating system allocate extra resources to E-cores while reserving P-cores for demanding tasks like gaming. For instance, a 12600k with six P-cores and hyperthreading is similar to a Ryzen 5 5600x, and adding four E-cores can assist with background operations. However, it remains challenging to rely on the OS and software to handle this efficiently, especially given some issues observed in benchmarks like Ashes of the Singularity, possibly due to core misinterpretation. If successful, it could significantly improve performance.

I’ve kept it submerged and cared for it like royalty for six years. No one has ever seen anything above 60°C.
