6CPU/6CPU or 6CPU/12CPU (Minecraft Server)
These servers run on one thread, so performance won't be affected. I think a 10100 would work well—faster, lower cost, and includes an IGPU.
The i3-10100 offers solid performance, but you need more than that for a server with 60+ players. You're aiming for a CPU with better multi-core support.
The server operates in a single-threaded mode, meaning additional cores won't improve performance.
They still favor single-core perf but require more performance. Around 1.15 my 4.2GHz G3258 struggled with basic vanilla servers even with one player, whereas 1.14 handled multiple users easily. I’d likely stick with the hyperthreaded option.
The quad-core setup remains sufficient, though it's still fairly lightweight on a single thread. It looks like there might be an issue, but a single-player server should work on the G3258. I'll choose the non-fiber option and add an IGPU for video output.
