Hi guys, OC'ing noob here. I'm testing my 6700k stable with a 4.6ghz clock at 1.4 volts. It runs smoothly between 25-33°C, stays steady around 77-84°C after hitting a peak of 86°C. The rog real bench stress test shows it's holding up well. I'm using a Corsair H100i v2 for cooling. Everything looks good.

Hi everyone, OC'ing noob here. I'm testing my 6700k stable with a 4.6ghz clock speed at 1.4 volts. The temperature stays around 25-33°C during idle and drops to 77-84°C after reaching 86°C, which is under the bench stress test. Are these temperatures normal? I'm using a Corsair H100i v2 for cooling. Thanks.

Hi guys, OC'ing noob here. I'm running my 6700k stable 4.6ghz at 1.4 volts. I idle around 25-33 degrees celsius and under the rog real bench stress test after I peaked at 86 degrees but sat stable at 77- 84 degrees. Are these temps okay? I'm using a corsair h100i v2 for cooling.
Thanks.
Try to decrease voltage, its too high for 4.6, my voltage was 1.280 in OS at 4.6GHZ.
Thanks, what settings did you get 5 ghz at?

1.470v prime95 works for 4 hours, but I use 4.9 at 1.410 for daily tasks. My chip is silicone, so not everyone can achieve such a high level. It's also delidded.
