Hi everyone,
I've been tweaking my 6600k and trying to figure out the safe voltage. I managed to hit 4.7ghz at 1.47 volts, but that seems a bit high. The temperatures are climbing into the upper 60s, like 66-69°C on Cinebench R15 (I'll post a picture later because it's not crucial right now).

Right now I'm running at 4.6ghz and 1.4 volts (I increased it to 1.41 because the BIOS said I needed 1.408 volts, and it worked well in userbenchmarks across all categories except Workstation, where it only reached 80% at 59-63°C). It's still working at 59-63°C, but I recall seeing a 4.8 and 1.4 something about a year ago from a Salasar Studio overclocking guide—back then I got 99% percentile in userbench, now it's only 88%.

Could this be related to the motherboard? Is the ASUS Z170 Sabertooth Mark S a good overclocker?

some individuals claim up to 1.4 is acceptable for continuous use, but I wouldn't recommend exceeding 1.35 for regular sessions. A value around 1.3 seems more suitable.

The stock was running at 3.9ghz with 1.3V, and now it's at 1.4V and 4.6ghz.
