I just discovered a motherboard that fits my needs, offering 5V connectors while still supporting the 12V RGB headers you were expecting. It’s a great option under $150.

LGA 1151 "rev 2" corresponds to processors like the Coffee Lake 300-series, while LGA 1151 also covers Sky Lake and Kaby Lake models from the 100-series and 200-series.

Do you need confirmation about the processor model? It might be useful to know if it's an i3-9100f.

The coffee lake setup. If you don’t already have this board and CPU, I suggest trying Zen 2 or Comet Lake. This system won’t receive updates anymore. And the CPU is really low quality. A 3300x with a decent B450 board would be much better. Plus, the platform itself would improve significantly.

Looking for a Ryzen 3 3100 but the 3300X isn't in stock anywhere?
