I own a Unifi setup that functions well overall—16 ports, 150W power, a 16-port XG 10000Mbps switch, a Unifi HD Nano, an In-Wall HD device, and an external mesh antenna. Everything operates smoothly across most devices in the house, except for my 2017 QLED Q7R TV in the living room. It connects fine to the 2.4GHz network consistently, but streaming YouTube 4K or Plex 4K on 5GHz is smooth. The real issue arises when the TV powers off and comes back on: it remains connected to the 5GHz network but lacks internet access, even after disconnecting and reconnecting through the 2.4GHz channel. To fix this, I have to switch between networks step by step with a password—this is frustrating. I’m leaning toward a wired connection but want to avoid that hassle.

It seems the problem isn't necessarily with the network. If it were, the TV wouldn't be impacted by other changes. My guess is a network update or IP address adjustment is involved, possibly preventing the TV from applying new settings. Look for software updates for your TV or reset it—this could resolve the issue. I'm not very familiar with this, but I tried to offer some advice.

They've put in a lot of effort, but fixing the IP part works great on 2.4GHz. It's there where things fall apart. The 2.4GHz frequency just can't handle Bluray 4K streaming over Wi-Fi well—even 4K YouTube feels shaky on that band. Looks like a Samsung problem. On my KS8005 (DK model, which is the American KS9000), it's the same issue but with a hardwired setup. I found some old articles about complaints, but recently someone shared a fix.
