Key takeaways for this setup: The PBO2 adjustments aren’t straightforward; a specific sweet spot must be found through experiment. Using optimized configurations (PBO2+Curve+Boost) achieved about 6% improvement in multicore speed, with a 12.5% rise in CPU temperature. The best performance came from a curve offset of -15 across all cores, paired with 25 MHz boost versus the stock setting. Temperatures stayed stable during testing, and the results varied depending on workload stress levels. For further details, I can share the scripts used or provide more data upon request.

When I saw this: confusion 100 Lol, it seems modern gaming is mostly pointless without heavy overclocking and solid cooling. Running an old LGA 775 system means it really matters, but technology keeps evolving.

System details include more than just the board and CPU. The memory speed was specified, and the Infinity Fabric frequency was noted. Testing with dividers and high-frequency RAM at 4000MHz was performed. Custom fan profiles were used or developed. The cooler features upgraded fans. The room temperature was recorded.

Additional specs beyond memory, processor, and cooling solution: 650W power supply with PCIe 3.0, RX 560D graphics card optimized for 2x32G video output. RAM configuration: Crucial DDR4 #BL2K32G36C16U4B, speed 3600 MHz with FCLK at 1800 MHz. No attempts to upgrade RAM. Fan settings on DH-D15: each fan runs at 45°C/20% - 55°C/50% - 65°C/80% - 75°C/100%. No additional cooling components installed. Room temperature remained steady at around 22°C in the basement office.
