I've been interested in purchasing this CPU several times just to check its performance. However, I already have the 5600X and 5900X, and only one board is available.

The arrangement with AIO isn't just about adding more water. It's more like a pump paired with a slim cold plate at the base. This setup means only a tiny copper mass—usually no bigger than the IHS plate itself—will experience significant temperature differences. That leads to elevated idle temperatures and a quick time to reach operating heat. The radiator surface is beneficial, but most AIO units use aluminum radiators, resulting in mixed metal materials in the loop. In general liquid cooling advice: avoid mixing metals. My top worries are ensuring a solid water block within the system. A complete copper block on a tailored loop can match or even surpass the heat capacity of full AIO setups. Plus, with full copper you gain more internal and external surface area for efficient heat removal. AIO pumps that use plates depend mainly on heat dissipation from one side of the cold plate, which is where the high temperature gradient originates. Although custom loops can cost more upfront, many manufacturers provide free mounting plate upgrades, making the transition to liquid cooling much smoother. In short, skip the AIO and go for a tailored loop.

Bios is the newest version for F13g. I needed to upgrade because the board didn’t support 5000 by default. I didn’t even check the voltage settings. I went straight into the Bios and then to PBO.

I noticed the issue here... You manage only four hours of sleep each day. Honestly, 85-90°C during operation isn’t unusual, especially considering the surrounding temperatures. (93°C while idle would definitely be an issue, but it seems you’ve addressed that.) I don’t have too much concern, though it’s on the warmer side. A temperature of 41°C at idle is quite comfortable. It might be the cooler itself is faulty (maybe the pump?) or the thermal paste isn’t applying evenly enough? Personally, I’d prefer a powerful air cooler rather than an AIO—fewer components mean less chance of failure, but that’s just my opinion.

I began with a 10 negative ppt 120, TDC 75, EDC 130. I tested three and -10, -20, -30. The score improved on mult at -30 but it kept dropping to 90c. Then I switched to PPT 115, TDC 100, EDC 80, started with -10,-20,-30. It crashed at -30 and -20 was unstable. Still reached 85c. It seems the final settings might offer better tuning, but overall temperature control wasn't ideal. The 2070s run is around 30c-31c. In-game, the GPU stays stable between 45c-50c during Escape from Tarkov.

It seems you're experiencing unusual heat levels. Double-check the thermal paste application on your AIO. Your 5950X is running at about 35°C with an NH-D15 and a high-core-count CPU—this suggests the issue might be elsewhere.

If you have more thermal paste, pull the pump off the CPU and check to make sure you have enough and it spread evenly.

I didn't use the same CPU, but placing the radiator helped a great deal. For exhaust, you're employing GPU-heated air to regulate your CPU temperature.
