Hello. For my latest setup I purchased a 6950XT paired with a 5800X. Many suggested opting for the 5800X3D, but it wasn't in stock then. I acquired my current CPU for under 280€. Worth the extra 110€ (bringing the total to 390€) to upgrade to the X3D? It's still within the return window. Thanks!

What resolution are we talking about? It feels expensive for the 5800X3D. Consider the overall cost of the machine—does $110 sound reasonable?

1440p is impressive, though the cost seems high. Does the improvement justify it? I won’t lose everything, but if the gains aren’t clear, I’ll stick with what I have or wait for a better deal before my deadline passes.

For gaming focus, go for it—definitely yes. If another task matters more (like Photoshop or rendering), the base 5800X is a better choice.

It's challenging, I wouldn't opt for a 5800X new atm. Adding another 110 for a 3D model feels excessive. At least I wouldn't stick with the 5800X.

I balance gaming with some other activities, but gaming comes first. I’ll watch for any price drops. Sounds like a solid move. Appreciate the link!

When using ACC, this CPU performs exceptionally well—it completely overshadows everything else, even the 13900k.

I purchased it for 319€... it looks like you might want to check for more affordable options... I’m only into Tekken right now, 60fps still feels a bit slow compared to my 3600, but it’s got 8 cores!
