I understand your confusion about the CPU readings. It sounds like the processor is operating differently than expected, possibly due to its architecture. The software you're using might be interpreting the data in a way that doesn't match real performance. Have you checked if other tools also show similar discrepancies?

I own a 5700X but don’t experience this problem. It might be a BIOS-related bug.

I changed it to the newest release because the older version didn’t support the CPU. If there’s a bug, it’s likely worth addressing rather than ignoring it.

It relies on whether the 5700X performs well. Run benchmarks using Cinebench R23 single and multi-core and share the results.

Single core: 1515 Multi-core: 13,114 MP Ratio: 8.65x At least that's what the tooltip said, even though I completed about 3-4 passes.

It's quite common to notice this pattern with Ryzen processors. Many people ask about the actual clock speeds, which are typically found in Ryzen Master and HWiNFO's Effective Clocks section.

I didn't see the accurate time displays; they seem to match what I anticipated.

Not every program can process that data. In such scenarios, performance improves under stress but struggles in quiet or light usage. For more details, check the link provided.

Also discovered that PBO in Auto signifies essentially off, so I turned it on which lets all cores ramp up to around 4.5Ghz Single core: 1507 (not great lmao). For multi-core it's 14903 MP with a ratio of 9.89x.

It seems the problem is mainly with Ryzen at idle speeds. Ryzen Master appears to handle it properly and show it correctly. Likely around 200mhz idle, which matches what you expect. I haven't used Ryzen Master much, but I'm not a fan of it. Idc about idle frequencies—temperatures should confirm it's in idle mode.
