Hello fellow forum members, it's been a while! I'm working on some game development projects and have a question about GPU options. Should I go with a 5600X or a 5700G? I'm leaning toward the 5700G mainly because of its integrated GPU and extra cores, but I know it doesn't use the Ryzen chiplet design. I'll mostly be using Unity, Unreal, and Blender for modeling. Do you have any direct comparisons or recommendations? Also, I think the 5700G might be a temporary solution until better GPUs become available, possibly followed by a 3060 and then a more powerful CPU later on. Thanks in advance!

5600x performs well in all tasks including blender render. However, a GPU is necessary, so upgrading to something like the 5900x isn’t much of a step forward unless you’re already on that path. Switching or upgrading later won’t be as beneficial and could waste money. Save some funds if possible and opt for the 5900x now, using whatever card you have. If budget is tight, stick with 5600x even without an integrated GPU.
