I own a 4690K paired with a Hyper 212 EVO and want to push it overclocked. I’ve learned it can reach 4.8GHz before, but I’m unsure what voltage setting will get it there. My idle temps sit around 35–40°C, and my load temps are 50–56°C—are these values typical? Will the EVO handle an overclock to 4.8GHz safely? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks ahead.

This i5-4690K at 4.8GHz is quite impressive or fortunate.
My version reached up to 4.6 but it was somewhat unstable.
I lowered it to 4.5GHz, yet kept it at 1.27V which I used for 4.6.
The temperatures are 35C idle, 60C load, and 70C max, though I have a much better air cooler. Thermalright Macho rev. B.
