I'm doing userbenchmark and I'm not seeing a normal result this time. The score fluctuates between 90% and 112%, before it ranged from 105% to 112%. Overclock is 4.7ghz at 1.3v. Something seems off here—I can notice my bus speed dropping to 5mhz at certain points from the default 100mhz.

you're asking why you should overclock it even though it already runs at 4.4ghz, given your current CPU load stays under 25% during games.

Why do you think you should do it anyway it has a boost clock of 4.4ghz? I have the same CPU and never use more than 25% while gaming. Not trying to be a nerd but could you clarify what a "boost clock" is? Since I have a 4790k, is this something I should enable?

it's most of the time enabled by default

It's usually turned on by default
😉
Wouldn't it show me my CPU clock as 4.4 ghz? Because in BIOS it shows 4.0 ghz.

Satchdog123 asked about the boost clock on their CPU, explaining they have a 4.4GHz boost setting but it's not enabled by default. They want to know if enabling it would show the actual clock speed in BIOS and if it would help them see it as 4.4GHz. They also mentioned downloading CPU-Z and testing with a game to confirm.
