Looking to boost my 8700K 4.7+ setup, I know Coffee Lake can cause overheating if cooling isn't proper. The problem is I can't find alternatives except standard names, especially when handling heavy or full loads without exceeding 80°C (no delays). No prior custom looping experience, but I'd prefer an AIO that I could install and upgrade myself.

Top Picks:
- Cooler Master MasterGel Maker
- ASRock Z370 Extreme4 ATX

I wouldn't use that thermal paste. I personally use Arctic's MX-2 and you can look at Noctua's TIM. There's also Arctic Silver 5. What are your ambient room temps? If you plan to build a custom watercooling loop, might want to read through the watercooling sticky(in my sig).

Thanks for your message! Your room temperature is around 68-72°F. The reason you're not using the Paste might be because it creates a noticeable 10-degree variation compared to benchmarks.

Grizzly Kryonaut works well throughout the day. AIOs priced over 120 USD and having solid reviews are acceptable. Units under 100 USD aren't worth the effort—air would be better.
