Hello, your current setup runs at 4.4GHz with a 4690k processor and 1600MHz DDR3 RAM. Switching to Ryzen 5/7 could definitely improve gaming performance, especially if you upgrade to faster RAM.

I believe upgrading to an AMD system would be great. A solid CPU board and memory would make a big difference. Using an M2 for the operating system drive could provide a noticeable improvement.

Switching to AMD or Intel could greatly enhance your gaming experience. If you're aiming for higher FPS after RAW, Intel usually offers better performance per dollar. Still, AMD delivers strong value with models like the 3600.

I understand that having four cores works well for gaming, but I often use YouTube or similar apps on a secondary display to get an extra 30% performance boost after upgrading.

It would assist if the card were being held back. It's also better not to claim four cores are sufficient for gaming, as that can be a matter of opinion.
