I believe you can safely reach 1.25v if you wish. Many individuals exceed 1.3v. If you aim to boost 4.4Ghz or higher, go for it. Alternatively, maintaining around 4.2Ghz is acceptable as well. It all hinges on your comfort and performance goals.

It was a fascinating article—I gained a lot of knowledge, thank you for sharing it.
I’ve decided to stick with 4.2 and play it safe. I hope my new GPU will provide the extra boost in graphics and FPS when it arrives.
