I’m playing fort and my game keeps crashing, I’m confused as my GPU is only running at 50%. This only started happening today. At some points my whole pc is crashing out of discord and voicemod and other applications. Any help as I recently bought this 4060 and it was fine until now. The error message said “out of memory, make sure your video card has the minimum memory required”. This annoying af as I’m trying to game with the huzz and they aren’t impressed with my constant crashing.

I don't have a full system specification.

Playing Fortnite without any other programs or mods is a good idea. Aim for at least 16GB of RAM now. If your system uses more than 85% of its memory, consider 32GB or more. 64GB is perfect but may be too much unless you need it. It all depends on what you require.

Your processor runs at full capacity yet you're unsure if switching to a Ryzen model would help, which might explain the problem.

Your processor isn't always running at full capacity unless thermal throttling occurs. It can hit 100% occasionally, but it shouldn't stay idle at that level. The Task Manager histogram will help you see this clearly.

I would set up Afterburner and analyze the GPU memory usage graph.

Sounds like you're thinking about improving it, even with just 9MB of cache.

Your RAM is currently at 84%. I suggest increasing it to 32GB. For the CPU, an upgrade would also improve system performance, though it won’t address the error issues.
