It doesn't seem like any physical changes were made to the rig, riser cables are recognized as potential failure points.

I've been checking the system over the past few days. I updated the BIOS to drop PCI to 3.0. The system hasn't crashed again; it's running smoothly while rendering. Thanks to everyone for your assistance!
