You can still use it, but you’ll need a 4-pin CPU cable. It might not be ideal since the pin count doesn’t match, but it should work if you adapt accordingly. Testing in this spot is possible, though you may want to double-check connections.

The instructions suggest connecting it properly and avoiding excessive power usage. They advise using the 2x4 configuration for up to 130 watts. Updated July 1, 2021 by Alyxia.
