Hi everyone, I'm checking if an Intel Core i3 9100 can work with my Y520T - 25IK motherboard and the i3 7100 CPU. I haven't found the board details online or on the benchmark site, but I'm hoping someone can help. Thanks!

The i3-7100 runs on the Kaby Lake micro design, while the i3-9100 is built with the Coffee Lake micro design. This means they can't share the same memory module. You'll need a different model with the Coffee Lake architecture to pair with the 9100.
